No Train Horns

March 2, 2010 by: admin

Well today is the day…the train horns are no more in downtown Flagstaff.  That should make for an incredible summer on the patio.  I'll miss those horns, though; they have become part of life downtown.  Be sure to look both ways when making your way "south of the tracks" to TBox.  Chef is busy sourcing some new dishes for you so check our new website often…as soon as I get the dinner menu changes from Scott, I'll post them to the menu section of the site.  That way if it's 4 p.m. and you're craving Jalapeno Mac-N-Cheese you can check to see if it here.  I will also put things of special interest right on the home page under the "KITCHEN UPDATES" post.  See you soon and watch for those trains!

I'll miss the horns too!   What is Flagstaff without train "whistles"?  I've lived in and visited Flagstaff all my life!  It's soothing to me, I will sincerely miss the whistle of the train, it's part of the ambiance, nostalgia and romance of downtown.  This is a sad "improvement"
