Please Excuse Our (City’s) Dust
May 21, 2010 by: adminWell it has started; the City of Flagstaff is putting some of those BBB tax monies to work and improving the Southside streets and sidewalks. When completed the Southside will include new streets, sidewalks, bike racks, tree planters, street lights, benches–the works. By August the Southside will look terrific. Thanks to Christine Cameron from the City for all her hard work on the coordination of this work. So, to all the regulars of the Southside Businesses, PLEASE STAY WITH US! Navigating the streets will be an ever changing adventure–but hey, change is good they say. We will keep you updated on the road closures and detour routes as much as possible; come in Chef Scott and I will be working on some "Construction Specials."
The City has worked to find us some parking options as part of the work will include closing down one lane at a time. Currently, there will be parking in the lot on the southwest corner of Phoenix and Agassiz, just a block east of the TBox. Access it by traveling east on Phoenix Street (first street south of the tracks) from either San Fran or Beaver. Also, don't forget that the gravel lot that is directly north of the new Lumberyard Brewery is PUBLIC PARKING. Additionally, there is 2-hour parking on the east side of the Train Station. There is always plenty of street parking on Agassiz just one block east of us. So, help us through the construction, we promise to keep up our end of the bargain by providing incredible American Comfort Food–Redefined with hand-crafted cocktails and an All-Domestic Beer and Wine list. We also will keep it light and fun and our educated staff can help you with your dinner selections, wine notes, and cocktail suggestions. See you soon!
