For the first time in decades, the Tourist Home sign is lit and the doors are open on South San Francisco Street. The Tourist Home is our answer to daily breakfast and lunch. Part restaurant and part local hub and the Tinderbox Kitchen’s answer to breakfast, lunch and to-go specialty items. Tourist Home offers breakfast and lunch including the best breakfast burrito and eggs benedict and the most beautiful pastry case in town offered by Chef Kat Biermann. Along with morning “cocktails” espresso drinks and the Annex burger you can start your day with our early 0pening at 6:00 a.m. Stop in for a cup of coffee, breakfast burrito, newspaper, house made pastries and conversation.
Originally built in 1926, the Tourist Home served as a Basque sheepherders boarding house. After a major rehabilitation effort, the Tourist Home is again open for business and serving Flagstaff hospitality.
